Getting in my groove

After a long grueling day beginning bright and early with a photo shoot, followed by a cram design session, cut short by a job interview (for my own job, long story, we'll save that for later), I finished a project I'd been very excited about.

And working in the dark secretive world of government contracting (sorry, Lex, consulting, consulting, I'm trying to remember that one!) exciting moments are few and far between. Alas, thus is the last two years of my professional life.

So when I waltzed up to this person with proudly printed project in hand, and he took one look at it and said, "This is so beautiful, it makes me want to cry," I almost did, too.
